It’s the first time that the Brasilian team has a complete third kit designed by Nike. The soccer jersey pays tribute to the dynamic and diverse country.
The new Brazil jersey uses a dark, almost black, shade of green, evoking the country’s lush landscape and urban nightlife. The deep hue sets off vivid yellow detailing of the team crest and Swoosh.
Inside the collar an illustration by Rio de Janeiro designer Bruno Big is showing a hand in a figa. The Brasil equivalent to the “fingers crossed” gesture. This traditional superstition believed to bring good luck.
The Brazil new short pay tribute to surfing. Next to football (soccer) a sport loved by many Brasilians.
Blue, green and yellow horizontal stripes make reference to Brasil’s national flag. And green socks complete the look.
