Celtic away shirt worn by LarssonStuart McDonell is the first to answer. Stuart’s has a great collection of Celtic shirts online. You van follow Stuart on Twitter.

Since when do you follow Celtic?
From my earliest memory, I always remembered playing football in the garden with my Celtic kit which was from one of the old Umbro Repli-kit boxes.
I can’t be sure exactly when of my first game, but the first one I can vividly remember was Celtic V Aberdeen in 1987 during the centenary season.
It was a 2-2 draw with Aberdeen equalising in the 89th minute to rescue a draw.
Fair to say I was hooked!

Why did you become a Celtic fan?
Growing up in Glasgow meant you tended to follow the team that your family supported. You where immersed in that team and thankfully for me, that team played in green and white.
I’m too young to have been lifted over the turnstiles, but heading along with my Dad to the old Celtic Park before it was redeveloped and hearing the roar from the jungle was an experience that lives with me to this day.

What clubs, other than Celtic, do you support?
To be honest, I don’t support any other teams. I’ll always look out for the big European games whether it be in the Champions league or a local derby.
To quote a classic Celtic song, ‘Celtic Celtic that’s the team for me’

What is your best Celtic moment ever?
Hard to pin down, but I’ll go for 2.
1. Stopping 10 in a row being was magical. To be there as Henrik Larsson scored a serene opener and to watch our captain Tom Boyd lift the league championship trophy after so many barren years was tear jerking. I’m lucky to have Tom Boyd’s shirt from that momentous day in my collection which has pride of place in #thecelticshirtkitroom

2. The run to the 2003 Uefa Cup final. I grew up on stories of the Lisbon Lions and our European adventures which have graced Celtic park under the floodlights for many a year

To witness my team, first hand, reaching a European final was what dreams are made off!

I have Henrik Larsson’s match worn shirt from the Semi Final 2nd leg when he scored that goal to take us to the final and I’ve also got the shirt that John Hartson would’ve worn in Seville had he not been injured. I’ll always wonder if John could’ve played made a difference in that game.

Do you have any dream or wish in relation to Celtic?
A dream would be to see Celtic lift the European cup again, but with the current make-up of European football these days, it’ll be very difficult for any club out with the likes of Barca, Bayern, Real Madrid etc to win the big cup.

What is your favourite Celtic home shirt?
My favourite Celtic home shirt differs as we’ve had so many classic designs.
I’ll go for the home shirt from 1995 to 1997. This was a style of shirt worn during part of Tommy Burn’s time as Celtic manager. Tommy was Mr Celtic and brought Celtic back to playing attractive, attacking football.
He ended a barren run of 6 years without a trophy by winning the Scottish cup in 1995 when we wore this style of shirt for the 1st time.
I have Peter Grant’s 2nd half match worn shirt from the final and I’ll always remember these hoops fondly from that May afternoon at Hampden Park.

The best Celtic shirt according to Stuart

What is your favourite Celtic away shirt?
Celtic have had some classic away shirts which make this a difficult decision.
The pinstriped away shirt from 1992 to 1994 was my first replica away kit and to have a match worn shirt in that style brings back great memories of playing football through the summer during the school holidays.

But for me, our best away strip has to be our radical luminous bumble bee kit from 1996-1998.
It’s a striking shirt which was warmly welcomed to our clubs kit history and captured everyone’s attention no matter where you wore it!

How many Celtic shirts do you have?
At this point in time, I have 65 Celtic player shirts which can be viewed online at www.thecelticshirt.co.uk and a few more which have to stay private.

What is your favourite 2013/14 shirt, other than Celtic?
I’ve seen quite a few beautiful shirts play against Celtic from this seasons Champions league campaign and pre-season friendlies, but the one I’d pick is Borussia Monchengladbach.
The luminous green design effect against the plain black was quite eye catching.

What is your favourite ‘all time’ shirt, other than Celtic?
When I was growing up, channel 4 had live football every Sunday from Serie A.
AC Milan where at their peak and images of Gullit, Van Basten, Maldini etc etc in the plain red and black striped shirt of the Rossoneri mesmerised me and left a lasting impression.

Next is Paul Lamb. Paul is also a match worn Celtic shirt collector. You can find his Celtic shirts collection online. Paul can also be followed on Twitter.

Since when do you follow Celtic?
I come from a large Family of Celtic Supporters, so you could say i was born a Celtic fan.

Why did you become a Celtic fan?
I remember my grandparents taking me to Parkhead in the mid ’80s and I was lucky enough to see the likes of Danny McGrain, Murdo McLeod, Roy Aitken, Brian McClair and Paul McStay play for Celtic. Seeing these great players wear the Celtic shirt with pride is what made me a true fan.

What Clubs, other than Celtic, do you support?
When I was young, I had a real liking for Liverpool after Kenny Dalgleish left Celtic to join them and remember getting a Yellow Liverpool Away kit for my birthday. Nowadays, I don’t follow any other teams religiously

What is your best Celtic moment ever?
I’ve been lucky enough to see some great Celtic moments over the last 30 odd years. From Last Day League wins in 1986 & 1998 to some amazing derby wins and glorious European nights, it’s almost impossible to pick one. But I’d say the Finale to the 1988 Centenary season is quite special to me. I have great memories of being at the League clincher against Dundee and the Scottish Cup Final win over Dundee Utd with lots of Family.

Do you have any dream or wish in relation to Celtic?
On the field, I would love to see Celtic competing consistently in the latter stages of European football once again
Off it, I hope that my passion for shirt collecting will one day help to chronicle and preserve the History of my Club and one of the most iconic and recognisable shirts in World Football.

What is your favourite Celtic home shirt?
There have been many interpretations of the ‘Hoops’ over the years, from the classic style worn by the Lisbon Lions in 1967 to the controversial ‘Broken Hoops’ shirt by Umbro with white panels on each side worn between 2001 and 2003. Picking a favourite is difficult, but I would go for the 1988 Centenary strip made by Umbro. With the unique badge celebrating the Club’s 100th year, it represents a fantastic Season and holds great memories for me. I have a Replica version but hope to get a Match Worn one for my Collection one day.

What is your favourite Celtic away shirt?
Again, this is a tough choice. We had some very good Away shirts during the mid 80′s including the Lime Green one worn the day we won the League in 1986. And the recent White 125th Anniversary shirt by Nike is one of my favourites. But i think i would opt for the Green and Black vertical striped shirt by Umbro in 1992/93 as my choice. The lack of sponsor and the shield detail around the Club badge had a Retro feel to it and reminded me of the classic style of an Inter Milan shirt. This is another one that i’m looking to add to my Match Worn collection.

How many Celtic shirts do you have?
I have roughly 30 Celtic replica shirts, including all those that I used to wear to the Games between1988 and 2007 when i stopped regularly buying them. I also collect Match Worn and player issued shirts, of which I have 17 at the moment. Collecting these shirts has led me to set up my own web site to showcase them and allow me to hopefully add some more shirts in the future.

What is your favourite 2013/14 shirt, other than Celtic?
I’ve been a fan of Arsenal’s shirts for a while and their current yellow Arsenal away shirt would be my favourite just now.

What is your favourite “All Time” shirt, apart from Celtic?
I had a real passion for football shirts during the 90′s and still have replicas from clubs like Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Barcelona and International Shirts from Italy and Sweden. But a particular favourite is a black and gold Borussia Dortmund shirt from 1998.

And last in this Celtic jersey interview is Tony Lomax. You can follow Tony on his Celtic Shirts collection on Twitter.

Why did you become a Celtic supporter?
Supporting Celtic was passed down to me by my dad. My dad would go and watch the greats of the 60′s 70′s and 80′s and tell me stories of what being a celtic fan was all about. Unfortunately by the time i started going to watch Celtic regularly it was through a barren spell that was the 90′s in which our greatest rivals dominated.

What clubs, other than Celtic, do you support?
Liverpool was always my 2nd team growing up. I used to always own a green Liverpool away top, unfortunately these days the green away tops are few and far between.

What is your best Celtic moment ever?
A very difficult question. The seville run 2002/2003 was a major highlight, finally seeing celtic perform on the higher european stage that the fans deserve was oustanding. I was lucky enough to travel to 3 away games on that run including the final. There are a few other games that spring to mind. Stopping 10 in a row in 1998 was a massive massive moment in our history and i enjoyed that experience (after the full time whistle had gone. Other highlights were beating Airdrie 1-0 in the scottish cup final 1995 to end a barren trophy run and defeating our greatest rivals 3-0 in their own patch where henrik scored his 50th of the season was such an amazing feeling.

Do you have any dream or wish in relation to Celtic?
My dream for Celtic would be for us to fulfill our massive potential, whether that be by moving to the english premiership or by joining a european league of some sort. In my opinion we would be in the top 5 biggest clubs in the world if we were given the same financial resources as the major clubs in the top european leagues.

We are vastly punching above our weight on the european given the gulf in tv money between ourselves and other elite european clubs.

What is your favorite Celtic home shirt?
My favourite celtic home shirt would be the 1985-1987 home shirt. the first ever celtic shirt i owned. I was lucky to get my hands on an exact replica recently to add to my vintage collection.

What is your favorite Celtic away shirt?
My favourite celtic away shirts are 1989-1991 and 1994-95 away shirt. Again I have been lucky enough to obtain a player issue (possibly matchworn) shirt recently to add to my collection.

How many Celtic jerseys do you have?
I have roughly between 60-70 celtic shirts.

What is your favorite 2013/14 shirt, other than Celtic?
Difficult question. I’ll go for the green germany away shirt. There is always something magical about the Argentina home shirt mind you.

What is your favorite ‘all time’ shirt, other than Celtic?
Another really difficult question. so I need to pick 3. The Rep of Ireland home shirt from euro 88. The Holland home Shirt from Euro 88 and the Germany home shirt from italia 90.

I like to thank Stuart, Paul and Tony for sharing their great Celtic shirt stories with us.
